Grennan & Sperandio make HORSE GUTS

Simon Grennan and Christopher Sperandio present a new painted installation featuring nearly 30 original works by Frederic Remington. For this installation, Grennan and Sperandio have isolated the horse from the 1890 Remington painting "A peril of the Plains." Here the horse has been blown apart, and its cartoon intestines wind around the gallery wall, as a display mechanism for the presentation of numerous Remington works owned by Saint Lawrence University. At the Richard F. Brush Gallery now through October 4, 2008.
