A tea party in the heart of Blackpool, England's favourite seaside resort, launched the new online archive 'Bloomfield Talks' on Saturday 11 October. The archive showcases visual, audio and written material collected by a team of volunteers, focusing on the deep and recent history of the Bloomfield, Revoe, Foxhall and near South Shore areas of the town. The edited Bloomfield Talks archive will continue to grow until it is published as a book in February 2009 and given as a gift to every household in the area.
