A project for The Suburban Gallery, Chicago, operated by Michelle Grabner and Brad Killam.

Christopher Sperandio, 4/5 scale

The exhibition title "Worthless Protégé" refers to the feelings of desperation, hope, disappointment and affection that inevitably spring from the complex relationship between teacher and student. The installation features a cut-out, free-standing 4/5 scale Sperandio introducing a wall of recent work by participating ex-students. On exhibition through June, 2004.
