Grennan & Sperandio sail past The Sidings

The Sidings, the second of seven new works made as part of the Leverhule Artists Residency at The Grosvenor Museum, Chester, is on show until 14 August 2009. Pairing a 100-year old plushy elephant from the social history collection with a cake parent, baked by famous Chester bakers P&A Davies, the piece is named for a Chester location redolent of past homes and childhoods. Grennan & Sperandio complete the trilogy

The new book The Wisdom of Barrhead and Neilston launches in Barrhead, Glasgow on 14 June. Comprising 365 pieces of wisdom compiled in response to the question What's the most important lesson life has taught you?, the book has been given away to all of the 7500 households in Barrhead and Neilston as a gift. The Wisdom of Barrhead and Neiston' completes a suite of three books given away in Wrexham, Blackpool and Glasgow by Grennan & Sperandio in April, May and June 2009.
